Our Story

There was a time when food was simple. It came from nearby fields, was made with patience, and nourished not just the body, but life itself. Somewhere along the way, that changed. Convenience replaced care, shelf life replaced freshness, and food slowly drifted away from its roots.

Adavi Farms began with a simple but unsettling realization — the very food meant to keep us healthy had become overly processed, stripped of its natural goodness, and disconnected from the way it was meant to be made. What we were consuming no longer felt like food our grandparents would recognize.

That realization led us back to the source. We went back to traditional practices — the slow, mindful Bilona method of making A2 ghee, where curd is hand-churned into butter before being gently heated. We returned to wood pressing oils at low temperatures, preserving their natural nutrients, aroma, and integrity. These aren’t shortcuts; they are time-tested methods that respect both the ingredient and the process.

Adavi Farms was built on the belief that good health doesn’t come from complex solutions, but from honest food made the right way. Every product we create carries that intention — to bring back purity, to restore trust, and to offer food that feels as real as it should be.

Happy A2 Cows

Our journey begins with indigenous A2 cows — Gir, Sahiwal, and Red Sindhi breeds — grazing freely on chemical-free pastures. These cows are treated with love and respect, producing milk naturally rich in A2 beta-casein protein, easier to digest and packed with nutrients.

Fresh Milking

Every morning, our cows are hand-milked in a calm, stress-free environment. The fresh A2 milk is collected immediately and handled with extreme care to preserve its natural goodness. No hormones, no additives — just pure, wholesome milk.

Traditional Curd Setting

The milk is gently heated and set into curd using time-honored methods. This natural fermentation process takes 8–12 hours, allowing beneficial probiotics to develop. The curd is thick, creamy, and full of gut-friendly cultures.

Bilona Churning

Using the ancient Bilona method, the curd is hand-churned in clay pots using a wooden churner. This slow, rhythmic process separates pure white butter from buttermilk — preserving all the natural vitamins, minerals, and aromatic compounds.

Slow Heating

The butter is gently heated over a controlled flame until the water evaporates and milk solids settle. This slow heating — done in small batches — ensures the ghee develops its signature golden color, nutty aroma, and granular texture.

Before bottling, every batch undergoes rigorous third-party lab testing. We test for purity, adulteration, moisture content, and nutritional values across 70+ parameters. Only batches that pass all tests are certified for packaging.
